Snowbird resort is a year-round ski and summer resort located in the heart of the Wasatch National Forest on the eastern border of the Salt Lake City suburb of Sandy. It receives more than 500 inches (1,270 cm) of snowfall per year, due to lake-effect enhancement from the Great Salt Lake, making it the second snowiest ski area in the United States.

Descripción del trabajo y restricciones: Under the direction of restaurant manager. Responsible for coordinating individual station and communicating with guests to provide a quick service experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to work on time in the proper uniform. Obeys all company rules and regulations. Greets guests and employs suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and to increase company revenues. Meets all guest needs during the course of the transaction in order to achieve a positive experience for the guest. Ensures standards of appearance and sanitation are maintained on a daily basis. Maintains good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the property. Follows state policies and regulations for serving alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Obtains bank and is responsible for all financial transactions occurring within the operations, Employee may assist in other food and beverage outlets if business levels require.

Descripción del trabajo y restricciones: Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met. Make beds, dust furniture, wipe mirrors, replenish room supplies, move furniture, hang drapes, roll carpet, sweep outside areas and may be required to wash dry, fold sheets, and towels carry linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides and steam operated sterilizers. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy. Provide assistance to guests if asked.

Descripción del trabajo y restricciones: Responsible for clearing dishes, cleaning table, and resetting each table after guess have finished dining. Work closely with servers to coordinate food delivery. Ensure items are stocked at each service station, General cleaning of the restaurant and kitchen areas and additional tasks may be assigned depending on business levels. You may sometimes be asked to perform duties in other departments.



Yes, but living in employee housing is not mandatory. Dormitory style housing will be offered in for Cliff Lodge in the Cliff Club rooms. We have designated a floor of rooms to J1 Visa students. Two bedrooms will share one kitchen/living area. The bedrooms will be double or quad occupancy, depending on availability. There are 3 bathrooms, one in each bedroom and one in the kitchen/living area. Fully furnitured with laundry onsite. Housing is less than 5 miles from worksite.

Rent: $260 per 2 weeks deducted from paycheck every 2 weeks. Deposit: $120 upon arrival deducted from paycheck. Security deposit is fully refundable if housing is left in condition it was given. Deposits are returned after participant has moved out and Housing Manager has inspected the room.

Organized events and cultural activities: Yes – Employee Kick Off party, Independence day 4th of July and Founder day 24th of July. Cultural activities: Bee’s baseball game, Museum tour, Zoo trip.

Summer Pass: Access to Tram for hiking and sightseeing. 10 Summer activity passes that can be used for the mountain coaster, alpine slide and other rides at the resort.

Discounts: Yes, 20% off retail items

Benefits at other properties: Yes – 50% off food at the resort, excluding alcohol, 50% of Lodging at the resort if it is available.

Family/Friends discount: Comp Tram passes and Summer Activity passes can be used for friends and family

Social security: No. The nearest SSN office is in 10138 S Jordan Gateway, South Jordan, UT 84095. Employer will pay participants prior to receiving their social security number.

Airport pickup: Yes – We will arrange for the their arrival date through Canyon Transportation
