JOBS

Housekeeping

   Nivel de inglés: 3+ | Sueldo: 15 $/hora

General Hotel Cleaning duties:

  • Maintain and clean all areas. Including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing floors and furniture throughout the Shore Lodge, Whitetail, and The Cove.
  • Empty trash and clean restrooms, mirrors, and inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces, keeping all brass and stainless steel shiny.
  • Clear snow and debris from entryways.
  • Obtain the list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned, and clean guest rooms to the highest standards.
  • Clean guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor: make guest beds, dust rooms, and furniture. Clean closet.

Guest Service

Serve as a Shore Lodge / Whitetail ambassador, engaging our guests at every opportunity. Ensure our guest’s arrival, stay, and departure service is fulfilled at a 5-star service level; welcome guests and maintain post at the front door when not assisting guests. Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage/baggage, and escorting them to their room. Maintain the general cleanliness of the Shore Lodge exterior entry, Lobby, and Bell staff area. Initiate preparation of Movie Theatre reservations and execute start-up and movie guest services. Arrange and maintain luggage carts. Perform in-room deliveries.

Spa Coordinator

Requirements: Women’s section, so only female due to requirements of the job. Main duties

  • Schedule appointments in person or via phone and respond to email inquiries.
  • Greet guests, check them in and out, escort guests to locker room, give tours, assist in selection of retail, re-book for future visits, and answer questions.
  • Process gift cards sold through online store.
  • Send email confirmation to bookings within 24 hours of booking.
  • Confirm all appointments for next day via phone. Follow up on discrepancies or guests unable to confirm.
  • Fold and stock robes for locker rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms and common areas by stocking amenities, picking up dirty laundry, shelving clean laundry, stocking lockers and removing trash, at least hourly.
  • Take Food and Beverage orders from pool area and place orders with restaurant. Monitor delayed orders.
  • Set-up or breakdown the spa at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Act as the Customer Service Representative of “The Cove” and the entire Shore Lodge and Whitetail property.
  • Assist in coordinating Spa groups/parties in conjunction with the Spa Manager within booking constraints.
  • Other tasks deemed necessary for successful spa operation not included on this list.

Steward

Main duties: 

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans and utensils, equipment and the work environment. 
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Handle small-wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Properly operate and maintain commercial dish-washing and sanitizing machines. 
  • Can assist in food preparation by having the ability to follow recipes and/or product directions.
  • Assist with Back of House operations to ensure we are guest ready at all times. (Removing used pans and small-wares from the cooking line, taking out trash, refreshing sanitizer buckets, etc.).

  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area. 
  • Make sure floors are clean as required, sweeping mopping and polishing etc.

HOUSING

Employee housing is less than a half mile from the Lodge and walking distance.

  • Dormitory-style housing is provided.
  • 1-3 Participants per room.
  • Rent: ranges from $275-$600 per person per month, depending upon configuration, availability, and choice. Deducted from the check biweekly.
  • Deposit: $250, paid upon arrival in cash, credit card, or check. A partial refund based on the quality of the room is left in.
  • No access to a full kitchen. 
  • Shared microwaves and mini refrigerators are available, and laundry facilities are onsite.
  • Utilities included in the cost of rent: Gas, Electricity, Sewer, Water, and Trash Service.

Airport Pickup: Students need to take a Greyhound bus from Boise to McCall (approx. 2.5 hrs). The only Scheduled bus leaves at approx. 7:30 am, so students should plan to arrive a day earlier and spend the night in Boise (www.greyhound.com). You must fly into Boise by the Sunday or Monday prior to your Training Day in order to arrive in McCall by Monday or Tuesday. Orientations are only on Wednesday.
