Bryce Resort is a 400-acre member-owned resort the northern part of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley that is open to the public. The resort is very popular with residents of the valley, as well as families and tourists from the Washington, D.C. area. Facilities at Bryce include the main lodge with the Copper Kettle restaurant, an outside snack bar called Carter’s Hutte, the Express Grill next to the pool, a full-service bike rental and instruction operation, a golf shop.

Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the entire sports center facility. Enforces pool rules and safety regulations. Cleans pool following scheduled days and times. Advises supervisor of complaints or issues as they occur. Performs any other duties as directed.

Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions and collections during work shifts. Obtains and reviews information regarding food and beverage pricing. Collects cash, checks and charge payments. Makes change for cash transactions and prepares member or credit card charges. Counts money and charge payments in cash drawer at the end of the work shift. Reconciles cash receipts and charge sales with total sales to verify accuracy of transactions. Turns in cash bank and deposits the daily report with receipts into designated safe. Helps keep the dining area neat and clean and keep merchandise stocked. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. Performs as cook as needed. Performs any other duties as directed.

Descripción del trabajo: Also known as the Bike Park Lift Attendant. This position is responsible for operating the Bike Lift. Safely providing exceptional member/patron service is always the primary function. Operates all the various lift systems in a safe manner. Knows the emergency procedures of all the various lift systems. Keeps both the loading and unloading stations in optimum condition for safe operation. Unloads mountain bike at top of lift and sets in bike racks to be ready for customers when unloading from lift. Ensures all customers using the lifts are ticketed properly. Controls customer flow onto and off all lifts to ensure order, equity and safety. Controls customer flow onto and off of tubing hill to ensure order, equity and safety. Assists in lift evacuations procedures as directed. Assists in the completion of lift related incident reports. Performs any other duties as directed.
