Operate and maintain Café bar area by stocking, cleaning, and making sure everything is set before and after each shift. Set up Café bar station in a timely manner, working alongside coworkers to ensure that everything is in place and ready for each shift of service. Maintain complete knowledge of products and specifications. This includes ingredients, descriptions, sourcing, brands, allergens, etc. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our POS’ operation. Perform bar maintenance throughout the shift, including crumbing, keeping waters full, clearing and resetting serving ware etc. Coordinate service at the bar with bar back, runners and bartenders when appropriate. Report all guest complaints to management immediately. Complete weekly cleaning duties, in addition to opening and closing duties.

Have complete knowledge of the food and beverage items and preparations. Have a comprehensive knowledge of modern classic as well as popular cocktails. Provide an exceptional guest experience from the moment they walk in the door to the moment they leave. Operate as a team member, helping others and requesting help as needed. Perform any other restaurant duties as requested by management. Serve alcoholic beverages only to guests over 21 years of age. Check IDs at every table without exception. Perform table/bar maintenance throughout the shift, including crumbing, keeping water full, clearing and resetting serving ware, etc. Make sure the bar is fully stocked on arrival and continuously restocked throughout your shift. Communicate with hosts about how the bar is handling the service flow. Clean and polish glassware and silverware. Ensure that mise trays are consistently stocked. Check in with bartenders regularly.

Stock and replace missing items; inspect, move, and clean room mini bars in accordance with departmental procedures and policies. Maintain, track, and complete daily report for mini-bar stock items. Ensure products in the mini bar are not expired; take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary. Maintain assigned mini-bar carts and keep them organized and clean. Work together with Housekeeping and Front Office to complete the assigned vacant and arrival rooms. In addition, fulfill room requests for mini-bar service. Perform other job duties necessary for the success of the company. Maintain and deliver Bar- Cart to our guest during Happy Hour. Spirit knowledge a plus.
